Natural and cultural amenities surrounding Ørslev Kloster to come to the fore once again

Implementation of nature plan at Ørslev Kloster

Ørslev Kloster offers authors, composers, researchers, students and artists greater peace in which to work, thus enabling them to immerse themselves more fully in tasks when at the former convent. The association behind Ørslev Kloster wishes to develop and preserve the existing countryside at Ørslev Kloster and thereby create better conditions for those visiting the convent. This includes opening up the forest by utilising natural paths and the possibility of establishing a play area for associations and institutions in the local area.

On the basis of the above, DDH has asked HedeDanmark a/s to draw up a nature plan for the area and will provide DKK 1 million in support to Foreningen Ørslev Kloster in 2011 such that this plan can be realised.
